To blog or not to blog


During my recent travels it occurred to me just how time consuming blogging can be. Of course we all love it, or we wouldn't do it, but I'd have to admit that even though I thought about trying to write something during this busy time, it was actually nice to have a break from it! I did not even visit any of the regular blogs that I read and draw inspiration from.

I'd even have to admit that for a split second I toyed with the idea of just not getting back into the loop, but over the last couple of days I have been checking back in and catching up on my blog reading, and who am I kidding?!!! I AM HOOKED! So many clever, talented and INSPIRING people out there that I just can't stay away.

I do feel that I have not given as much time to this blog as I had intended this year, so next year I plan to get back on track with things.

Anyway - thanks for visiting and sticking by me during such inconsistent postings!
...Oh and happy festive season!

I don't think I've ever posted a comment here either, but I DO visit whenever you post something and enjoy your art and point of view. I hope you keep blogging - even if less frequently - that's what bloglines (or google reader) is there for!

I feel the same way: I love blogging -- being able to share my art and learn from so, so many incredible artists out there. It has helped me to improve and to connect with so many great people from all over the world, but it is quite time consuming. I'm still trying to find the right balance. :-)

You know I think all of us bloggers have that struggle. Its an up and down thing for me. It is indeed time consuming...I think its got its good and bad. But yeah I dont think I can abandon my blog, its too addictive!! Its always ok to take a break from it though...whatever you need!

Boy, I so get that. I guess it's like anything else for us creative types. The inspiration for it comes and goes, but if we didn't have it, we'd feel like we were missing out. When I start feeling like my blog isn't inspiring me anymore, I dive in and change the format! Hhaha...when I was a kid, I used to changed the furniture around in my room at least once a month! I guess mixing it up gets things lookin' fresh and new and exciting! But I'm glad you decided to stay because when we come to your blog, you help inspire us all with your fun and imaginative creations! :O)
