My life at 41

Today is my birthday. I am not shy about letting you know my age for a number of reasons. One being that I still feel like the same person I was at 21 (although I like to think I am a little wiser with my years), but also because I can honestly say that I am 100% totally happy with my life right now and where we are at. I think that's part of the problem with birthdays. They naturally make us relfect on our lives and where we thought we'd be and what we would be doing by that stage of our lives. Well, I think if you had told that 21 year old me all of the things I will have seen and done by the time I reached 41 I would scarcely have believed half of it. Yet there are so many more wonderful things happening right now and I hope to share some of them with you over the coming weeks. Thank you to my gorgeous husband and beautiful daughter (who also had a birthday this week - she's a big 2 year old now!) for making every day so special. I love you both. x Happy Days.

I hope you have a very Happy Birthday! Cheers! :)
Happy birthday, shame about the weather on your birthday, the sun tried to shine but that rain kept on coming!! I am the same, thoroughly satisfied where i am at 37 & will absolutely embrace my 40s. Really, there is NOTHING you can do about the actual years, time keeps on passing, you have to make the most of it & enjoy it. Have a beautiful weekend, love Posie

What a blessed perception you have, D - realizing your joy and your wealth when it's sitting in your lap. 41 is NOTHIN'. There's so much more to come. My mother was always 24 to herself, 32 to me. So I am thirty two except in the dang mirror. You have lived your life - really lived it, both hands on the wheel. And you value the great things that will never let you down - may give you frustration, but always will be the great things. I'm so proud of you.
