That coat is going to look great on Jade. I miss you - so much good stuff has been happening lately - can't wait to share it with you (or stop by my blog to see).
Once, I was cleaning up my quilt fabric. Organizing. Dumped it all on the living room floor. A total riot of color and texture. And was hit with a sudden, powerful wave of vertigo; all of it cried out to be cut and juxtaposed and sucked into some kind of design. Thousands of designs. Like voices, demanding, from the floor. I am no artist. I don't know what to do, sometimes - and I just stand there looking at a pile of stuff that even while I'm looking at it from a distance, I can feel in my hands.
Your little pile is like that. And I am glad you are going to answer it. Because I freeze as I look down on it, knowing my vision will never match my hunger.
K you have such a way with words. I know exactly that feeling you describe and you're right. It IS hunger. It's almost overwhelming and leaves you unsure where to start!
You know. That's exactly how it ends for me, too. Like a mouse, I am, skittering around, not knowing which thing to bite and when to run. I've been like that for days on a larger scale. Not a productive state of mind.
