I have just realised that my Monday post came up as Friday! Hhhhmmmm.....yet another learning curve in this blogging stuff! I started the post on Friday so that I would not forget about the new website I found, but did not finish it off and publish it until Monday! It really has been a week of "Inspiration Monday's"!!

i have had an amazing year. Joseph and I caught a truck to a cattle station 500km NE of Alice Springs when he was four months old and i governessed until the end of August. (My students were finding it hard to learn take-away sums with Jo blowing raspberries on their feet.)
We were planning to come to melbourne for my best friends wedding, when we got a call from Joseph's grandmother. His father had been killed in a road accident. So we were around for the funeral. One day later we moved into his flat in Elsternwick.
I've been thru a big grieving period, but am loving life down here. I'm a full time mum, but i am getting some work published and am selling quite a bit of art and (believe it or not) customised baby clothes. The DirtBabY range is inspired by my years in the desert - couldn't get jo's clothes white, so i marinated them in red dust. A beautiful soft orange. I have also been painting over hand me down t-shirts with some very rock and roll results. I believe that cotton is destroying the planet, but we all love wearing it, so why not recycle/redesign it? Would love to see some more of your work and Hope you and yrs are well and best wishes for the festive season,
