HERE THEY ARE! MY NEW BOOKS

I was delighted to get a parcel from my publisher tonight containing their catalogue which now includes my NEW books, so I thought it was about time I revealed this project to you. Here's a "sneak peak" at some of the illustrations inside the books!

Many of you would be used to seeing my animal characters, so these illustrations are little bit of a step away from my usual work, but I am really pleased with how they have come together.

Obviously the text was added later and I will share more with you when I get the books, but here's the link to the publishers site just out of interest! I am very excited about them and can't wait to see them in stores. As I mentioned I have signed up for 6 of these wonderful books and I have already completed the next two in the series.

I am still trying to get my hands on the books, but for now I thought share the catalogue page with you here:

They are lovely little books designed to share thoughts and feelings about Mum or Gran! The books are quite interactive with areas for kids to actually colour in or to write their own thoughts about their Mum or Gran. Here's a colour in page:

Fun stuff, hey?

Danielle, these are fantastic illustrations! They are so happy and fun. I love your line work and the way you did the rosy cheeks. Just fantastic work - so glad to see it.
Thank you all! I am pretty excited and thrilled to think that there is already some purchasing going on!

Shannon, you really do know me too well. Yes it was tough to not do the eye patch thing! You will be pleased to know that it's crept back into one of baby apparel ranges that I'm working on!

Is it true that the "I'm glad you are my husband" series will be an encyclopedia which is the reason I cannot find it on your blog or the black dog website?
These are super sweet! I love the look of these...both the illustrations and the design. Yay!
